love is here and it is now.
it is the shoe rack in our living room
finally filled up with pairs of muddy shoes
it is taking out the trash from the night before,
leftover birthday cake and empty bottles
it is saying, "that's so you!" to your best friend
after seeing something they would wear at the store
it is bunnies circling your feet the second you get back home from a long day out
it is conversations about trauma and love and spirituality
it is sitting on the couch, together in silence
it is in the moments where i think,
"i don't know what i'd do without you"
love is here.
love is now.
and love has always been here.
